About Steve
Legal advice shaped by how businesses actually operate.
Steve Rosser is a commercial lawyer with more than 30 years legal experience across private practice and senior in-house roles.
For 17 years, Steve was Director of Commercial and Legal Affairs, working closely with executives and commercial teams on legal risk, negotiations, corporate obligations and business decision-making. That in-house experience continues to shape his approach: legal advice should be precise, commercially realistic and useful in practice.
Steve has particular strength in directors' duties, corporate governance and the responsibilities of company decision-makers. As a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, he combines formal governance training with decades of practical commercial legal experience advising on the decisions, obligations and risks involved in running a company.
Steve is regularly invited to present and chair professional legal education seminars for other lawyers, reflecting the practical value of his knowledge and experience within the legal profession.
Today, Steve advises businesses, owners and directors with a combination of legal judgment, commercial experience and a practical understanding of how businesses operate.
